Introducing Julessa, our stylist with five years of hair experience, nearly two of which have been dedicated to Renew. Shes all about color corrections, impact blonding, and modern haircuts. Her true passion lies in enhancing her clients’ natural beauty and boosting their confidence through her craft. Outside the salon, Julessa loves spending time with family and friends.

Hey there, meet Arie, our seasoned stylist who’s been in the salon game since she was 16! Starting out at a blow dry bar, she quickly fell in love with curly hair and hasn’t looked back since. Arie joined us here at Renew back in summer ‘23, bringing her passion for classic highlighting, layered cuts, blowouts, and silk pressing along with her. But what really lights up her day? Meeting new faces and making them feel absolutely beautiful! Outside the salon, Arie’s a supermom to her two adorable daughters, loves getting crafty, mixing up delicious drinks, and indulging in all things Disney. You can also catch her listening to ‘90s and 2000s pop/hip hop.

5. Heat Protection: Some mousses offer heat protection, shielding your hair from damage caused by styling tools.
To properly apply volume mousse:
1. Start with damp hair: Towel-dry your hair until it’s slightly damp but not dripping wet.
2. Dispense mousse: Shake the mousse canister well, then dispense a golf ball-sized amount into your palm.
3. Spread evenly: Rub your palms together to distribute the mousse evenly. Avoid applying directly to the roots to prevent weighing down your hair.
4. Apply: Starting from the roots, work the mousse through your hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. Use a comb or your fingers to ensure even distribution.
5. Style: Blow-dry your hair using a round brush to enhance volume. You can also scrunch your hair with your hands for a more tousled look.
6. Finish: Once your hair is dry, style as desired. Avoid touching your hair too much to maintain volume and hold throughout the day.
